Create a spreadsheet of the columns on the Occupational Glossary Worksheet to find similarities and differences among occupations. The same procedure can be performed with a table that is inserted into a word processing document.

1. Create a spreadsheet with these column headings:

Terms
Meanings of Terms
Gestures
Meanings of Gestures
Special Equipment
Purpose of Special Equipment
Special Clothing
Purpose of Special Clothing

2. Enter the results of your research in the correct columns.

3. Use the Sort Function to discover which occupations have similar terms, equipment, clothing, and so on.
